The Challenge
SafeWork Solutions managed safety compliance across 120 construction sites using paper audit forms and a shared drive of scanned PDFs. Audit results were often lost or misfiled, overdue inspections were missed, and preparing for a regulator visit meant hours of manual file consolidation.
Our Approach
We mapped the entire audit lifecycle from on-site inspection to corrective action closure. The paper forms were the centre of gravity — everything radiated from them. Our solution was to digitise the form first and build the workflow around it, rather than forcing users to adapt to a new process.
The Solution
A progressive web app (PWA) that works offline on mobile devices during site inspections. Completed audits sync automatically when connectivity is restored. An admin dashboard gives the head office team live visibility into overdue items, corrective action status, and site compliance scores.
